Jordan Sarten grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and graduated from Lubbock-Coronado High School in 2005. She went to Oklahoma State University graduating with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 2009.
Jordan is coming to Reedy from the feeder school: Pioneer Heritage Middle School. She has taught and coached within the district for four years. Prior to Frisco ISD, Coach Sarten was a teacher/coach in Lubbock at J.T. Hutchinson Middle School for three years. She has always taught English Language Arts Reading, but this will be her first year teaching high school. Coach Sarten teaches Pre-AP English II and coaches basketball and softball.
Jordan enjoys teaching and coaching and has never wanted to do anything else. From the time she was little, she’s always wanted to be a teacher. She enjoys building relationships with her students and athletes, pushing them to become the best they can be, and loves watching them become successful. Outside of school, Jordan loves spending time with her family and friends, and attending church. She loves being competitive, working out, reading, getting manis/pedis, and sleeping. She is looking forward to moving up with her students, and becoming a part of the Reedy community.
