Girls -- The Lions finished off the season with a strong performance at the UIL 5A State Championships finishing 13th as a team to earn the second highest state finish in program history. The team was led by Julia Seelman (49th), Lainey O'Connor (51st), and Natalie Fehlig (93rd). Mary Boger and Renee Henderson rounded out the scoring for the Pride and Linda Zhang and Ellery Foster completed the team effort. We are so proud of the way these athletes were able to showcase the hard work they have done all season on the biggest stage in Texas. Congratulations on a GREAT season! Boys -- The Pride had two seniors earn individual qualifier spots to compete at the UIL 5A State Championships in Round Rock. The effort was led by Alex Roeren (40th) and followed by Parker Cathey (45th) to earn two Top 50 finishes at the biggest meet of the year. Congratulations to both of these young men on two impressive high school cross country careers! October 20, 2025 -- UIL 5A Region II Championship Girls -- The Reedy Lions secured a 4th place team finish to qualify for the State Meet for the 2nd year in a row and the 3rd time in program history. The effort was led by Julia Seelman (3rd), Lainey O'Connor (11th), and Natalie Fehlig (23rd). Renee Henderson and Mary Boger rounded out the scoring while Linda Zhang and Ellery Foster completed the team effort. Boys -- The Reedy Lions finished their season strong with a 6th place team finish against very tough competition. Seniors Parker Cathey and Alex Roeren were able to extend their season finishing 7th and 11th respectively to earn a spot at the UIL 5A State Championship on Halloween Day. The scoring was rounded out by Laksh Kachroo, Ian Ciruelos, and Luke Arnold, while the team effort was completed by Dennis Johnson, and Ayden Ijaz.
