Mickey Sepanek
Head Coach (Infielders / Hitters)
Mickey Sepanek (Coach Sep) is entering his second season as the head baseball coach at Frisco Reedy High School and is excited to continue the strong tradition that is Reedy Lion Baseball. He played his high school baseball at Marcus High School (’07) where he was an all-district infielder for the 2007 Area Finalists and also lettered in football. His collegiate career began at Eastern Michigan University where he was a part of the 2008 MAC Championship team (earning a bid to the U. of Michigan Regional of the NCAA D-I Tournament). His final two collegiate seasons were spent at Lyon College where he played outfield and was recognized as a 2-year TranSouth Academic All-Conference player.
He began his coaching career by staying on staff at Lyon while finishing up his coursework to graduate with a B.A. in Mathematics with a Concentration in Secondary Education. In the 2013 season, the Scots ranked as high as #16 in the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll and received an At-Large Berth to the NAIA National Tournament.
After graduation, Coach Sep began his Texas High School coaching career at Pilot Point Middle School where he coached football, basketball, and track while also volunteering as a varsity running backs coach in football and working with hitters and outfielders in baseball. After three years in Pilot Point, Coach Sep transitioned to Frisco ISD at Liberty High School coaching football and baseball for six years while also teaching geometry. He was the head freshmen coach for football, while also spending time coaching varsity receivers and running backs. With baseball, he primarily spent his time working with infielders while also running the offense.
Coach Sep also teaches geometry at Reedy. He lives in McKinney with his wife Rachael and their two chihuahuas; Klara and Pepper. He is looking forward to furthering the strong traditions at Reedy Baseball!

Caleb Zoda
Varsity Assistant (Catchers / 1B / Hitters)
Caleb was raised in Frisco, Texas, and graduated from Centennial High School in 2015. He went on to play Junior College baseball at Richland College (TX), Dakota County Technical College (MN). While at Dakota County, Caleb helped lead the Blue Knights to win a NJCAA Regional Tournament. Caleb finished out his collegiate career at the University of Houston-Victoria. While at UHV Caleb led the Nation in Sacrifice Hits in his senior year and has the 2nd highest career fielding percentage In school history. He graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science with a focus on Sports Management from UHV.
After his college baseball career Caleb decided to enter education at Reedy High School. Caleb has coached catchers, hitters, and pitchers for the past three. Caleb is excited to be a part of continuing to build the Reedy baseball program and is dedicated to ensuring that students achieve both personal and professional success in the classroom and on the field.
Caleb and his wife, Kaila, got married in the summer of 2020. She is a teacher at Ashley Elementary in Frisco. They two daughters, Brylee (2) and Blaklee (6 months).

Caleb graduated from University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR with a B. S. in Kinesiology. During his time at Arkansas, he was a manager for the University's football team.
After graduation, Caleb spent two years at Haltom High School in Haltom City, TX before joining us here at Frisco Reedy. He teaches AP Human Geography.
As the son of a legendary high school baseball coach in the area, Caleb has always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. Being a part of something bigger than himself and making a difference on and off the field. Caleb's favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:7.
Caleb's hobbies include but are not limited to: watching his favorite sports teams (Cowboys, Rangers and Mavericks), ping pong, bowling, playing video games, traveling, and searching for the best burger in the United States.
